Art Deco jewellery, prominent from the 1920s to the 1930s, is characterised by geometric symmetry, clean lines, and striking contrasts achieved by pairing precious gemstones with diamonds.

These rings typically feature platinum or yellow gold settings, often incorporating hand-cut diamonds in old European or single cuts surrounding a central coloured gemstone.

Authentic pieces often display hand-crafted prongs, natural gemstone inclusions visible under magnification, and appropriate period hallmark stamps inside the band.

Pairing a historic cluster ring with minimalist modern bands creates a balanced look that highlights the intricate details of the antique centrepiece.

Store pieces individually in soft pouches, avoid harsh ultrasonic cleaners for treated or delicate gemstones, and have settings inspected annually by a professional jeweller.
