Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this Art Deco Ruby Ring to the 1930s.
Secured in an eight-claw yellow gold coronet collet, the ruby is flanked by a pair of white and bright old mine cut diamonds set in platinum, leading to a slender platinum shank.

Accompanied by a report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the ruby shows no indication of heating, and originates from Thailand / Cambodia.
Cut – Cushion cut ruby and old mine cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamond are G to H.
Clarity – The ruby is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS2.
Carat – The ruby is 1.64 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.75 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The ruby is approximately 8.4 x 6.2mm. From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 14.8mm. The ring is 6.8mm at the widest point and sits 5.3mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum and 18k yellow gold. Tested.
