FAQs

George V silver ring trees and trinket dishes gained popularity during the early 20th century as essential dressing table accessories, often featuring intricate casting and traditional British hallmarking.

These items are typically crafted from sterling silver using traditional silversmithing techniques such as casting, spinning for the base, and hand-finishing with detailed textural work.

Authentic pieces bear clear British hallmarks stamped directly into the metal, indicating the assay office, date letter, and makers mark corresponding to the early 20th century.

A silver ring tree serves as a functional decorative object on a dressing table, bedside table, or bathroom counter, combining utility with polished metallic texture.

Preserve antique silver by cleaning it gently with a non-abrasive microfibre cloth and specialised silver polish only when necessary, avoiding harsh chemicals that damage the metal.
