A brooch is an ornament with a pin and catch, worn to fasten or decorate clothing at the neck, bodice or lapel.
Georgian brooches are scarce on Sellingantiques, in only 41 titles. The earliest sampled are an 1800 giardinetti paste brooch and a gold-mounted jasperware piece.
