Technical Description

A fine 18th-century port wine glass. It has a round funnel bowl engraved with cross hatched vesica and that is representative of 18th century fine lace. Rib moulding to the base of the bowl above a plain stem and conical foot.

An excellent example with could have been used for wine, port or gin.

Date & Origin

England, c1740. Period of George II.

Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration
