Description:
This is a good quality pair of Regency style bookcases, of Anglo-Indian origin, constructed from solid teak, with a delightful “waterfall” design, circa 1930, in excellent original condition. Incorporating four open shelves, with a small gallery on top, the pair of Regency style bookcases are designed with an elegant “waterfall” shape, decorated with reeded mouldings down front edge. The plinth incorporates a shaped apron, and stands on bracket feet. This pair of Regency style bookcases displays a rich colour, having been cleaned and French polishe...d in our workshop to a professional standard. They are solid in joint, heavy and therefore sturdy.

Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item. The pair of Regency style bookcases displays a rich colour, having been cleaned and French polished in our workshop to a professional standard. The pair of bookcases stans on its original bracket feet and retains its original backboards. They are solid in joint, heavy (therefore sturdy) and ready to use.
