Pretty French Walnut Writing Bureau

1900 - 1920
Description

A very pretty cylinder writing bureau made from walnut with ormolu mounts.

The cylinder front has a Vernis Martin panel depicting figures and animals and flowers.

When the bottom drawer is opened the cylinder top rolls back which allows the leather covered writing slope to be unfolded.

The condition overall is very good and clean,. There are some pressure marks on the leather desktop.
