A Near Pair of Early Scottish Monart Vases

1920 - 1940
Description

A stunning near pair of early Scottish Monart glass vases. Being all hand blown there are always minor differences in sizes but these are as near a pair of you will get. Beautiful colours and design with gold dust decoration. Both are in perfect condition. Monart is the earliest of the Scottish art glass makers, starting production is 1928 in Perth, these are early examples of their work.

SIZE; 4 3/4" diameter by 5 3/4" height and 4 1/2" diameter by 5 1/2" height. Bases are both the same at 2 1/2" diameter.
