This Victorian table lamp dates from 1860 in the English Country House style. The piece combines a straight white opaline glass cylindrical column stem with a square stepped plinth base, turned brass collars, and a bayonet bulb fitting. The lamp has been re-wired and PAT tested, and includes old wear marks on the back of the plinth alongside polished brass and white glass surfaces. It measures 61 cm high, 16 cm wide, and 16 cm deep. Place this table lamp on a sideboard top or large side table in a traditional living room, hallway, or study. The upright proportions and neutral white and brass palette suit classic interior settings, providing both decorative presence and practical surface lighting for the home.
