Technical Description
A magnificent pair of Scottish Georgian Prussian glass decanters dating to c1825.
They have there original ground hollow ball stoppers with an array of cutting styles including diamond, prism, pillar and split cuts.
They sit in wide poring rims with three applied diamond cut neck rings. Slice cuts to the shoulders with alternating panels of diamond, prism, pillar and split cuts below. Star cut base.
Made by John Ford at the Holyrood Glass works in Edinburgh, Scotland between 1825-1835.
