A magnificent pair of Scottish Georgian Prussian glass decanters dating to c1825.
They sit in wide poring rims with three applied diamond cut neck rings. Slice cuts to the shoulders with alternating panels of diamond, prism, pillar and split cuts below. Star cut base.
Made by John Ford at the Holyrood Glass works in Edinburgh, Scotland between 1825-1835.

Without doubt, some of the best cut decanters we have seen in the last 20 years. They have been in the same collection since 1968 and this is the first time they have been on the market since then.
