A Late Victorian Wrythen Design Rose Bowl

A lovely late Victorian glass rose bowl. This attractive example is of waisted and wrythen form, with horizontal air bubble notches blown throughout. It has a frilled, undulating rim and a polished pontil mark to the base. A charming period piece, both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of small dark blobs of discolouration within the glass on the base. This is not damage and occurred in the manufacturing process.

Origin :- English.

Date :- 1886. Dated from the Registration mark on the base.
