A fine pair of decanter / wine bottle coasters, unmarked, but made of Old Sheffield Plate and dating to c1820. With beautiful turned fruitwood bases and baised underneath. Gorgeous wide ''bowls'' to the coasters.
The condition is good overall with no dents or splits. There are patches of copper bleed to the raised interiors and to the raised edges to the bases as can be expected from age and use.
