Pair of Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Dishes in Presentation Case 1897

Description

This is a superb pair of antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver dishes in their original presentation case.

The dishes each measure 1 3/4? (4.5 cms) high x 4 1/2? (11.5 cms) across and have matching hallmarks for Chester 1897 with the silversmiths mar for Jay, Richard Attenborough & Co and the inside of the case also shows the 'Jays' retailers mark.

They weigh 147 grams/4.7 troy oz the pair and are in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms.

This lovely pair of dishes will come with a certificate of authenticity.
