A 19th-century rummer glass. A large bucket bowl upon an angular knop stem. The conical foot is finished with a polished pontil.

Date & Origin

England, c1820. Period of George IV.

Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cacks or restoration

Height: 15.7cm Rim diameter: 10.2cm, Foot diameter: 8.5cm

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time Spain sold part of Florida to the US for $5 million on the 20th of October 1820.
