Technical Description
A excellent and very unusual 18th Century Balustroid wine glass dating to c1740. It has a drawn trumpet bowl with a solid section at the base above flattened ball knop and a basal true baluster knop. Conical folded foot.
Date & Origin
England, c1740. Period of George II.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown.
Dimensions
Height: 16.2cm Rim diameter: 6.3cm Foot diameter: 6.7cm.
