Technical Description

A rare example of an Arts & Crafts Thomas Webb Water Jug made around 1880.

Pattern Number 9816, its shown in the Webb catalogue (picture included). It has well defined rib moulding with two applied clear collars, one to the neck and one to the base. Features a intertwined double rope handle that wraps around the neck. Polished pontil.

An exceptional item which you wont find elsewhere.

We also have the matching Cream Jug.

Date & Origin

England, c1880.

Excellent, age-related as shown.
