Description

A rare Victorian miniature Betjemanns Patenet tantalus in burr walnut with brass fittings. The patented design lock, allows the handle to roll upon release of the mechanism, giving access to the three original crystal hobnail cut glass decanters. There is no key, however operates perfectly without. There is a retailers plaque for ‘Luke Plymouth’.

In excellent original condition with light wear commensurate with age and use. Two of the decanters have discreet chips to the collar and base. The stoppers are undamaged and remove easily. A very useable tantalus or

good addition to any collection.
