This is a stunning brooch with a rather enormous cut Amethyst.

( easily larger than a uk 50 pence piece)

The amethyst is surrounded by interlinking pinchbeck oval hoops which have alternative links of engraving.

The stone is wall mounted and has a twisted border.

The brooch has its guard/safety chain intact…

A fabulous piece of antique jewellery … just right for Hogmanay !
