Description

Fine facet cut sweetmeat glass on six sided pedestal stem with shoulder diamonds. The double ogee bowl with scalloped rim, bands of eclipses. The domed foot with with scalloped rim English c1750.

Condition: Very good condition.

Rim: 13.3 cm.

Base: 9.5 cm.

Note: A fine, heavy early cut sweetmeat glass. For a similar example see W A Thorpe, A History of English & Irish Glass (1929). pl CV, No. 1.
