Description

Art deco alabaster hanging dish light circa 1930.

Good quality art deco period pendant light.  natural alabaster worked to the form of a circular dish with ridged edge.  bowl suspended by 3 red ropes leading up to a bronzed ceiling rose.  light is provided by a single bulb holder running from the rose.

Very minor surface marks, overall very good condition.

With all electrics, we recommend that this light is professionally tested and installed.

This Art Deco pendant light, dating from around 1930, takes the form of a circular alabaster dish with a ridged edge and natural amber veining. The shallow bowl shade hangs from a round, bronzed brass ceiling canopy via three braided red fabric suspension cords. A single brass bulb holder and white ceramic base on a flexible cord run downwards from the centre of the ceiling rose. Very minor surface marks appear across the stone surface, leaving the fixture in very good overall condition with all electrics present.
