A large silver plated flagon with four goblets / loving cups. All marked for the maker Daniel & Arter, dating to c1900. An impressive and rare set. Possibly a communion set but bears no church markings.

The flagon is very good condition with no dents or splits, and no plate wear but some minor surface scratching. With a good tight fitting lid and thumbpiece. The interior is reasonably clean with only slight signs of age related wear.

All four loving cups are in very good condition with virtually no plate loss. The interiors are very clean but with some small marks.

Weight of flagon approx 1.2kg. Height approx 29cm. Span approx 24cm. Base diameter approx 15cm.

Each loving cup weighs approx 600g. Height approx 23.5cm. Span approx 19cm. Base diameter approx 9cm.
