Exhibit Antiques has dated this piece to the 1850s.
For the gamblers of the world, a 19th century 'Last Drop' Whisky tumbler dating to c1850. It has a slice-cut bowl with the words 'Ye lafte drope' with a hanged man engraved on one side. It also has a sealed compartment at the base with three small dice which move around freely.

A very nice example and part of the Michael Wallis collection which was 45 years in the making.
