An original Yorkshire carved oak panelled coffer, dated ''1722'', of small proportions. This coffer with triple panel hinge top. Carved triple panel front with, each panel with carved lozenges and the central panel carve dated ''1722''. Panelled sides and back. Raised on short stiles. All original including the base, hinges, timbers, panels, other than the extra lock.
A charming, quality, handsome coffer, full of originality and in a very good condition and ready for use.
