Technical Description

A superb Salviati & C. Murano. wine glass dating to c1880. It has a round funnel bowl edged in turquoise above a hollow inverted baluster stem with applied pincered 'wings' in turquoise and clear glass. Conical foot with edged turquoise.

A superb example very much in the 17th century style.

Date & Origin

Island of Murano, Italy, c1859-90.

Condition

Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration.
