Magnificent Art Nouveau Glass Pewter Claret Jug C1890

Technical Description

A superb Art Nouveau Glass Claret Jug dating to around 1890. It has its original glass spire stopper with a metal peg. The decanter has a silver cap with a beautiful fruiting vine pewter casing in the form of a lady eating grapes with a rope handle. Circular base with polished pontil.

Germany, c1890.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown, clean and clear.
