An exceptional 18th-century wine glass with a pan top bowl. Sits on a true mercury twist stem with a conical foot with a snapped pontil.

An exceptionally rare glass and the first pan top mercury twist we had had in over 20 years.
The foot has had a polish and we have taken that into consideration, however, the rarity of the form is outstanding and you won't find another example on line.

England, c1760. Period of George III.
Condition
No chips cracks or restoration, the foot rim has had a polish.
