Technical Description

A superb pair of Biedermeier wine glasses dating to c1840.

Slice cut round funnel bowls, the slice cuts continuing down into the shoulder knop and baluster knop stem. Conical feet with polished pontils.

Not moulded or flashed, these are solid cut, high-quality examples, made in Austria, in the 1st half of the 19th century.

Date & Origin

Austria, c1840.

Condition

Excellent, no chips cracks, or restoration.
