The herati design is drawn in bands across the rug which is quite an unusual feature. Note the long kilim ends with a banded design typical of Afshar work.The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear with good pile, the rug has a tight weave and the fine pile is cut short.The rug has been hand washed and ready for use.
