Technical Description
A superb pair of Biedermeier glass candlesticks dating to c1840.
Slice and scallop cut they have large hollow baluster knops above slice and scallop cut feet which have been deep radial cut to the underside.
Not moulded or flashed, these are solid cut, high-quality examples, made in Austria, probably Biedermeier, in the 1st half of the 19th century.
They are exceptionally rare.

Excellent, no chips cracks, or restoration.
