Description

Beautiful Victorian hand blown glass display dome with black ebonised wooden base, the interior lined with greeny-black velvet.

This superb display dome is oval in shape and stands 30cm tall on its base, 30cm wide and 23cm deep - the stand is 4cm tall. It comes in a great used condition with the slight surface wear that you would expect from an object of this age. The glass is bright, shiny, free from cracks, and has a few miniscule nibbles on the base of the glass which are completely unseen when it is in position on its wooden plinth.

On the underside, the base has a new leg added at some point in its history, but again this is completely unseen when in situ.
