Description

Here is a lovely example of a late Victorian Vaseline / Uranium Glass vase that glows a striking luminous yellow-green when viewed under a UV light. I have seen this vase in several collections attributed to the John 'Walsh' Walsh company.

Dating to the end of the 19th century, the vase has a ruffled neck, and dimples around the main body, with an intricate pattern of dots within spiral bands that radiate out from the base.

The vase stands 15cm high, and 11cm across its widest part, and is in excellent condition, glossy and lustrous with no chips or cracks. There is a smoothed pontil mark to the base.
