A pair of Salviati wine glasses featuring round funnel bowls with rib moulding above hollow wrythen moulded stems in pale amethyst. Rib moulded and folded conical feet matching the bowls.

Date & Origin

Murano, Italy, c1920.

Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 17.4cm Rim diameter: 6.9cm Foot diameter: 6.6cm.

Historical Relevance

Handcrafted around the time The Treaty of Versailles took effect on the 10th of January 1920, officially ending World War I.
