The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The crest is two hands holding the trunk of an oak tree sprouting, the hands issuing out of clouds.

Each is clearly hallmarked on the reverse for London 1963 with the maker's mark of C F Hancock & Co.
The bases are weighted and covered with green baize. The menu holders are unusually tall and would make a striking addition to any table, whether the name was Watson or not!
