Technical Description
An 18th century balustroid gin glass with a superb inverted bell bowl. Shoulder knop containing an air tear that continues down the stem. Conical folded foot.
Date & Origin
Holland, c1740. Period of George II.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown.
Dimensions
Height: 13.5cm Rim diameter: 4.8cm Foot diameter: 5.7cm.

Hand-made around the time Grog was first issued to the Royal Navy in 1740.
