Description

An early Victorian engraved cut lead crystal celery vase c1850. The hand blown baluster shaped vase has been engraved with a band of foliage beneath the top edge and the body of the vase has a deep band of slice cutting. The stem is ringed and there is a wide pontil mark on the base. There is one tiny bubble within the glass. Both this and the pontil mark indicate that this piece is handmade. A very attractive celery vase, just waiting for the celery!
