A rare Queen Anne Burr Walnut Bureau of extremely small proportions and good faded glowing colour and patina.
The shaped stepped interior fitted with small drawers, sliding well and pigeon holes. The drawer linings are made in Oak, two of the drawer backs have been replaced later in pine. On close inspection the veneer on one of the ends has been replaced although it now matches very well with the rest of the piece. The handles although not original have been fitted through the same holes as the originals. The lock to the fall front has a working Georgian key.
