Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration

Weight: 15.2cm Rim diameter: 6.3cm, Foot diameter: 6.8cm

Technical Description

A superb set of six early 19th-century ale glasses. Deceptive bucket bowls with slice cutting to the lower half. Angular knop stems above conical feet with polished pontils.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time of the official reopening of the White House in 1818 after the burning of Washington in 1814.
