Technical Description
An exquisite pair of Bohemian 18th-century glass liqueur decanters. They have their original gilded solid ball ground stoppers. Slice cut gilded necks with flute cut shoulders and Rocco gilded slice cuts bodies. Polished pontils.
A fantastic high-quality pair in superb condition.
You can see examples of these types of decanters on page 162 of ''The Decanter An Illustrated History of Glass from 1650'' by Andy McConnell. Personally, I think his two books are by far the best ever written on the subject, not just of decanters, but in many ways, glass in general.
