A lovely Painted Aesthetic Victorian Bamboo Blanket Box surviving from c1890.
Bamboo frame, with wicker panels.
Geometric pattern to all sides.
The item has a painted finish to it with a chippy finish and some grey old paint can be found in parts.
A really nice original lining possibly Morris paper design but unsure.
Original ageing and Patina is present throughout this item , structurally sound.
This item is offered in Country House condition, it has original wear and tear throughout, which gives this piece its own unique character. The item is structurally sound & With age related scuffs and scrapes expected of an honest piece of Victorian furniture.
