A very well made late 18th century desk, I have never seen another double sided piece from this era, it is sublime, the front has nine traditional drawers, the back two cupboards, the concept was of course for two people to share the same desk, either in a legal context or for the boss and their assistant. The desk comes complete with all original handles and green leather top which has a lovely patina.

...f used from 240+ plus years of service, everything functions as it should.
I can have the desk fully restored to include the timber being all washed back and French polished, for a price ask, I have left the desk as it is because a lot of collectors are looking for genuine age related patina, others are looking for fully restored.
As things stand we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom.
