Technical Description
A stunning 18th-century wine glass with a conical bowl with Neo Classical engraving around the rim. Sits of a stem with a drop knop above a conical foot with a snapped pontil.
A rather rare example. The style of the glass, metal, thin stem and foot are very much out of the Newcastle Light Baluster domain. The drop knop is simple and elegant. A very fine glass and we have never come across another example.
