A fine Georgian 18th century drawn trumpet wine glass. Long plain stem above a conical foot with a snapped pontil.
Date & Origin
England, c1750. Period of George II.
Condition
Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration.
Dimensions
Height: 16.8cm Rim diameter: 6.6cm Foot diameter: 7.3cm.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the wearing of the kilt was banned in Scotland by the Dress Act in 1746.
