Technical Description
 
Georgian opaque twist wine glass with an ogee bowl above a double series opaque twist stem consisting of an outlined lace corkscrew. Conical foot with snapped pontil.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-made around 10 years after the wearing of the kilt was banned in Scotland by the Dress Act in 1746.
