Technical Description
 
An exceptionally rare Georgian wine glass which has a pan top bowl above a double knop mercury twist stem. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.
 
Comments
 
Knopped mercury twist glasses from the 18th century are exceptionally rare and this is the first double knopped example we have had (or seen) in over 20 years. Ex Chris Crabtree collection.
