Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips or cracks, the foot rim has a small polished section which probably predates its Arthur Churchhill provenance.

Technical Description
An 18th-century air twist wine glass with a conical rococo engraved bowl above a multi spiral air twist stem. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.
A very unusual form with excellent provenance.
Provenance
The foot has its original Arthur Churchill Ltd and W Thomasson collection stickers.
Arthur Churchill Glass Limited was one of the world''s top 18th-century glass dealers from the 1930s to the 1970s. Also the renowned author of ''The Churchill Glass Notes''.
