Technical Description
A very fine 18th-century ale glass with a long round funnel bowl above a plain stem and conical folded foot.
Comments
For me personally, plain stem glasses from the 18th century have a strength of character that is unequaled in any other form from that period. The word ''plain'' is somewhat unfortunate as they are far from plain. A good example which has balance and perfect proportions is a work of art and the sheer delight of drinking from a glass that is over 250 years old...well just let''s say it always tastes better...irrespective of your tipple.
