Technical Description
 
A fine pair of 19th-century glass rummers which have round funnel bowls with a band of oval cuts around the base. Slice cuts stems above conical feet which have polished pontils.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time John Alexander Reina Newlands produced the first periodic table of elements in 1864.
