Technical Description
 
An early 19th-century champagne glass. Conical bowl with slice cutting to the lower half. Angular knop stem above conical foot with a polished pontil.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time of the official reopening of the White House in 1818 after the burning of Washington in 1814.
