This is a George IV hallmarked sterling silver fish slice, or fish server. It was assayed in London in 1820 and made by Henry Day. It has a fiddle pattern handle. The blade is pierced and engraved.
The blade is slightly bent. Otherwise the fish slice is in good order bearing surface marks commensurate with age.
